Here's what you need to know about Central Florida's weather for Tuesday and the rest of the week:

  • 30% chance of showers, with a few storms possible Monday afternoon
  • Highs around 90 inland, mid- to upper 80s along the coast
  • Moderate rip current risk, hazardous boating a surf conditions possible

Overnight will remain warm and muggy with lows quite a bit above our normal low of 69 degrees.

The onshore flow and gusty pattern is set to stick around until Wednesday before calming a bit toward the end of the week. Expect rough boating conditions and a high rip current threat through mid-week.

High pressure off the Mid-Atlantic coast will keep us in an onshore flow through the seven-day forecast and is expected to bring us much drier air. We'll keep a 20 percent to 30 percent rain chance Tuesday along and west of I-4, then completely drop rain chances during the day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

If you do see a shower pop tomorrow, it runs the chance of brief, heavy rain and an isolated lightning strike. Dew points are forecast to slip just a bit, back into the mid-60s for several days before climbing back to around 70 next weekend. With an increase in the moisture, we'll bring back a 20 percent to 30 percent rain chance for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the upper-80s to low-90s Tuesday, then in the upper-80s until Sunday.
