An Orange County condominium complex that has seen numerous incidents of violence throughout the year is now at the center of a homicide investigation.

The shooting that left one man dead and two others injured Saturday morning at the Tymber Skan Apartments is still under investigation. But nearby residents told News 13 the violence is a common occurrence and they just want it to stop.

“The neighbors came and knocked on my door and were telling me that somebody got killed and maybe an hour later someone told me who it was,” said Sarah Reece, who lives in the apartment complex. “I know the young man, but no one deserves to die like that.”

It happened shortly before 7 a.m., on Tymberwood Lane, located between John Young Parkway and Orange Blossom Trail.

When deputies arrived at the entrance to the complex, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. The two men were taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. One of them is in critical condition.

Police also found the body of a third man, Ira Robinson, 22, in a vehicle outside 4184 Tymberwood Lane. His death is considered a homicide.

“I am ready to move,” Reece said in reference to the shooting. “I’ve been ready to move. I tell my boyfriend I’m ready. It’s too much for the little ones to see too.”

The last major shooting happened on March 25. Shots were fired into a condo injuring a woman and man who were sitting on a couch watching T.V. In early March, another shooting occurred during a robbery. A vacant unit also caught on fire last year.

Residents said they’ve witnessed fights, shootings and fires break out more regularly. The complex is littered with broken and boarded windows. Doors are also bashed in.

“Another place was set on fire and I heard way back that some person had just drove their car into an abandoned apartment around here, it is almost natural to see a cop car around here,” said Morgan Zeppernick, a resident at the apartment complex.

The investigation into the triple shooting is ongoing. Police have yet to identify a suspect.
