Here's what you need to know about Central Florida's weather this beautiful weekend:

  • More sunshine Sunday
  • Low humidity, with highs in the low 80s
  • Showers return by Tuesday

The start to our weekend held gorgeous weather!  Temperatures Saturday morning were down in the 50s and only warmed to around 80 degrees under plenty of sunshine for the afternoon.  Our dry weather continues for a couple more days before rain chances return.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours.  Winds will remain a bit breezy, especially along the coast.  Low temperatures will be a cool and comfortable, falling into the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.

The end of our weekend will be just as nice as how we started.  Expect lots of sunshine Sunday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.  Winds will pick up a bit out of the north-northeast and gusts over 20mph will be possible.  These higher winds will create some choppy conditions on the ocean and lakes.  There will also be a high chance for rip currents.

We’ll stay dry for Monday, but winds will remain breezy off of the ocean.  This will allow for some moisture to start working its way back into Central Florida.  With more moisture around, rain chances will start to increase on Tuesday.  There is also an area of low pressure expected to develop along a stationary front over the Bahamas that will aid in higher rain chances for mid-week.  Temperatures will gradually climb over the next few days, making it back into the middle to upper 80 by Wednesday.
