A 19-year-old man has been arrested, accused of carjacking a woman and then crashing her vehicle into a home in Orange County.

Deputies said Jahva McClinton first tried to carjack another woman late Friday night on Rivertree Circle, in Oak Ridge, but she screamed and he ran away from the scene.

About an hour later, investigators said McClinton pointed a gun at another woman on Holden Avenue, in the Edgewood area, not far from the first incident. McClinton demanded money and snatched this woman's car keys, deputies said.

McClinton was able to get away with the woman's car, but not too long afterward, that car was found crashed into a building on North Pine Hills Road.

Deputies said McClinton fled that scene, but was eventually caught and arrested.

McClinton faces carjacking charges, along with aggravated battery with a firearm.
