A young girl was hit by a car while riding her bicycle in St. Cloud, police said Thursday.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and 10th Street, according to St. Cloud police.
Investigators said the little girl rode into oncoming traffic and was hit.
Police said the girl was not wearing a helmet and was not in a crosswalk.
The girl's condition was not immediately clear, but police said she was awake and lucid right after being hit. Still, she was airlifted to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
