A popular on-line auction is underway in Flagler County
There are 60 items up for bid with proceeds going to help the George Washington Carver Foundation.
You can bid on a boat trip with the Flagler County’s Sheriff or Property Appraiser or have a Flagler County commissioner make you dinner.
The annual auction for the George Washington Carver Foundation raises money for the Carver Center in Bunnell.
The center has become an important piece of the community over the last few years, becoming a site where more than 40 people have studied to earn their GED.
The county is applying for a grant to expand the center’s classrooms and meeting space, and foundation members would like to raise enough money to put furniture in that new space.;
The auction ends April 27.
