Bags of evidence were removed from a home in Windermere Thursday after three reports of rape and a report of attempted rape at a home on Bayshore Drive. Windermere Police served the search warrant at 10 a.m. and left the scene a little past 5 p.m. Thursday.

Windermere Police said they were looking for DNA evidence, video tape evidence and photographs from the alleged crimes. Per News 13 Crime Guidelines we have decided not to name the man because he has not been arrested.

According to the warrant, three sexual assaults were recorded by the man in the last two years and two of the victims appear to be unconscious. The most recent case happened in February or March of 2015, according to the warrant.

"She had a couple of shots at his residence where she immediately became violently ill and started throwing up. She was in and out of consciousness and woke up naked and at that particular time he was attempting to sexually assault her,” said David Ogden, Windermere Police Chief.

But a friend of the man spoke to News 13 outside his home Thursday.

“I don’t know if this is a conspiracy or some mad ex-girlfriends are making things bigger than it is, but until the truth comes out from my perspective, he is just an awesome person,” said Christina Greenslede.

According to the affidavit, in February the man at the center of the investigation met with Windermere Police where they showed him and his attorney the video recordings. The man said he never drugged anyone and the recordings were consensual. His lawyer said Thursday that she is still reviewing the affidavit.

Windermere police will be presenting the evidence they collected to the State’s Attorney Office.
