Here's what you need to know about Central Florida's weather heading into the weekend:

  • Lower rain chances as drier air moves into the area
  • Temperatures in the low-80s throughout the day
  • Plenty of sunshine on Friday and into the weekend

After a few very warm and muggy days, we’re set to enjoy a gorgeous stretch of weather right through next Monday. Highs will dip slightly below average during the day, generally staying in the lower 80s, and overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Might be nice enough to open up the windows and let some fresh air in the next several days. Winds pick up and gust to around 20 mph at times Friday and Saturday, with a few gusts to around 25 mph in our coastal communities.

By Tuesday and extending into the end of next week, highs will climb back into the mid-80s, and dew points are also forecast to jump into the muggy range. An area of low pressure developing out near the Bahamas Tuesday is expected to track due north, but may be close enough to brush the area with a few isolated showers or storms Tuesday through Thursday.
