The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has a new boat thanks to a grant.
The Florida Inland Navigation District Waterway Assistance Program matched the Sheriff’s Office contribution of $30,000 which allowed for the purchase of a 23 foot Shearwater boat with a Yamaha 250 motor.
The $63,604.67 Shearwater boat was manufactured by Maritec Industries, Incorporated and purchased in Groveland.
