A Cocoa man was killed and a woman was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 33-year-old man was driving westbound on State Road 520 near Cocoa Water Plant Road around 7 a.m.
Another driver, a female, was traveling eastbound on the same road.
The man in the Dodge pickup truck attempted to make a left turn onto Cocoa Water Plant Road, but he turned into the direct path of the woman's four-door Hyundai car.
The front of the woman's car struck the passenger's side of the man's pickup truck.
The man was ejected from the truck, troopers said. The woman was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
