Cheryl Heineman, the third-grade teacher at a Kissimmee school who was arrested Wednesday for allegedly selling drugs to undercover officers, bonded out of jail Friday.

Heineman was arrested Wednesday at Central Avenue Elementary School.

Her boyfriend, 20-year-old Jack Lindsey, was also arrested. The pair faces several charges, including sale and delivery of narcotics, sale and delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heineman has been a teacher since 2005. Osceola County School District officials said she has since been pulled out of the classroom until the investigation is completed.

Investigators believe Heineman was working with Lindsey for some time, and they are trying to find out where the two got the drugs they're accused of selling.

"We concluded the investigation with these two, but the investigation is ongoing," said Sgt. Denise Roberts, of the St. Cloud Police Department. "We are trying to find the connection between these pills."

Lindsey remains in jail on $49,500 bond.

The two won't be allowed to see each other or leave the county. They will also be required to wear ankle monitors.
