An Osceola County teacher and another person were arrested after allegedly selling drugs to undercover officers.

Central Avenue Elementary School teacher Cheryl Lynn Heineman, 45, and 20-year-old Jack Lindsey are facing several charges, including sale and delivery of narcotics, sale and delivery of a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heineman was arrested by St. Cloud police at the school after class let out Wednesday.

Investigators say there were four undercover operations.

Police say the first one involved Heineman meeting with an undercover agent at a Tractor Supply store and allegedly giving an agent a plastic bag with three pills of Xanax.

The arrest report said there was also a strip of acid with a picture of the cartoon character “Snoopy” on it.

Heineman still has multiple warrants in the system waiting to be served since there were four undercover operations.

In three of those operations, investigators said Lindsey was the passenger in the car and handed the drugs to undercover agents.

Osceola County School District officials said Heineman is a third-grade teacher at the school in Kissimmee. She's been a teacher since 2005. The district pulled Heineman out of the classroom until the investigation is complete.
