Loved ones gathered Saturday afternoon to say their final goodbyes to a pilot and his wife, two of the three people killed in a helicopter crash March 22 in Orange County.

Bruce Teitelbaum, the pilot, his wife, Marsha Khan, and a friend, Harry Anderson, were all on board when the chopper crashed into a College Park home.

The service was held at the Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand.

Family and friends called Khan "larger than life." She was an artist, a singer and an actress.

"This is what she was all about," said Jim DiPaulo, who was Khan's ex-husband. "The helicopter crash was an accident. If anything, it was to ensure that the story of her life gets out there."

Khan's son, Alan, said his mother loved adventure and had an outgoing personality.

"She was very colorful," said Arnette Sherman, a family friend. "She loved beautiful colors and flowers."

The helicopter was a Robinson R44 that departed from Orlando Executive Airport prior to the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
