A man is dead after crashing his car into the side of a Volusia County doctor's office.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at 770 Deltona Boulevard.
A deputy driving past noticed the car against the building, which sustained minimal damage. However, the impact crushed the car’s front end.
Fifty-one-year-old Michele Bertuzzi, of Winter Springs, was rushed to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial and pronounced dead less than an hour later.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the man to veer off the road.
