An investigation is underway after a man was found dead Saturday morning inside a Brevard County condominium.
Melbourne police received a request around 8:02 a.m. to check on a resident at the Golf View Condos, off Golf Lake Circle. A report came in about the resident possibly needing medical attention, police said.
Police found Alfred G. Megathlin, 60, dead inside the unit.
"At this time, the death is being investigated as a homicide," a report states.
Investigators said they believe the case to be an isolated incident inside the condo and not a random act within the area.
No other details are being released at this time.
