Hundreds of children have already been sent away with smiles and it's time once again for a free dental health fair on the Space Coast.
Five hundred kids over the past five years received dental care through the annual "Happy Smiles Happy Kids" program and even more are expected this go around at Eastern Florida State's Cocoa campus.
Free services include a dental exam, fluoride, and preventative education tips.
The goal is to showcase the need for low-cost dental care in the Brevard County area.
This year's event takes place Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Health Sciences Institute Dental Clinic, Bldg. 20, Room 111 on Eastern Florida’s Cocoa Campus located at 1519 Clearlake Road, off Rosetine Street and adjacent to the YMCA building.
Appointments aren't necessary.
