Rescue crews have responded to the Orlando World Center Marriott resort, where Orange County deputies said a woman almost crashed her car into a swimming pool Wednesday.

The crash happened sometime before 1:45 p.m. at the resort hotel on World Center Drive (State Road 536), just east of I-4 and an entrance to Walt Disney World.

Multiple people at the resort called 911 to report the crash, an Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman said.

The sheriff's office said the 69-year-old woman became disoriented from the parking lot. Troopers said she turned onto a golf cart path, striking a wall with her side mirror. The car came into a stop near the pool area.

No injuries were reported.

The hotel issued this statement Wednesday afternoon:

"Orlando World Center Marriott is working closely with the Florida Highway Patrol to gather information regarding this afternoon’s incident, but can confirm no guests or associates were harmed. There was no damage to the hotel and the car has been removed from the area. The resort remains fully operational, engaging in business as usual, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests remains a priority."
