A change of venue has been granted in the case of a Deltona man on trial in the 2013 killing of killing his wife and two children.

Luis Toledo's trial was moved to St. Augustine after Judge Raul Zambrano on Monday approved a change-of-venue motion by Toledo’s lawyers.

Toledo’s lawyers had asked for a continuance, but that was denied.

Zambrano ruled that jury selection will begin Jan. 19.

Toledo is charged with second degree murder in the Oct. 23, 2013 slaying of his wife, Yesenia Suarez, and with first degree murder in the deaths of Yesenia’s two children, Thalia and Michael.

Suarez's mother, Felisha Perez, said she not too concerned about having to travel to St. Augustine for the trial. She said she is willing to go anywhere as long as Toledo faces justice.

The bodies of Suarez and her two children have not been found.
