The Orange County Sheriff's Office said it is looking for a man who posed as a fake cop as he robbed a frightened family at gunpoint.
According to investigators, the armed suspect entered a home Wednesday near West Oak Ridge Road, claimed to be a police officer and robbed the occupants.
A Crimeline bulletin described the suspect as a Hispanic male who appeared to be in his early 20s of medium build, and around 5 feet 5 inches tall.
The man was wearing a black T-shirt over a white, long-sleeved shirt, along with dark jeans and a dark-colored baseball hat. Crimeline said he was wearing what appeared to be a police badge around his neck.
Investigators said the man spoke Spanish with a Puerto Rican accent and was armed with a semiautomatic handgun.
