Here's what you need to know for Central Florida's weather for the weekend:

A small low off shower of Brevard county is slowly spinning east away from the coast.  Showers rotating around the low have a potential to drive inland into parts of Brevard county the rest of our evening into tonight, but they will be isolated as most of the wet weather remains offshore.  Most of us will be dry overnight under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.  Temperatures will remain above our normal low of 68 by a few degrees as it will be a bit more humid too.

Saturday, showers will be possible in the afternoon with an imbedded thunderstorms moving west to east across the Peninsula.  Moisture is increasing ahead of a cold front that will drop into the Panhandle Saturday afternoon.  Temperatures will remain above normal with it felling like 90 or above before the cold front arrives Sunday morning.  Chance for rain is around 50 percent, then drops to 30 percent Sunday as the front drives into the south of Orlando.

Sunday, temperatures will back off a few degrees as our atmosphere begins to dry.  Clouds will be breaking up late morning into the early afternoon.  Monday morning should become a bit cooler with temperatures falling into the mid-60s to start off Columbus Day.  Highs will remain in the mid to low 80s into the middle of the week.

In the tropics, there are a couple of tropical waves we are watching, but no formation is anticipated over the next five days.  Late next week, there a signs of something trying to form in the western Caribbean, moving into the southern Gulf.  We will continue to monitor for further development.

In the tropics, relatively quiet conditions have taken over with no development expected in the next two to five days.
