The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify two women suspected of distracting a 72-year-old shopper inside a T.J.Maxx in Palm Coast and then stealing the woman's wallet.

Deputies said the suspects used the woman's stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases at Target in Palm Coast and a Best Buy in Daytona Beach.

More than $4,600 was charged to the card within one hour, deputies said.

Deputies said the theft happened Sept. 14 while Lillie Keeton, a Palm Coast resident, shopped inside the T.J.Maxx store. A woman asked the victim to help her pick out pillows for her mother. Keeton told deputies she left her purse and wallet in a shopping cart out of her sight for several minutes while she talked to the woman.

The woman decided not to buy any pillows and eventually walked away, deputies said.

When Keeton went to pay for her items, she discovered her wallet, including her driver's license, checkbook, credit cards and cash, were missing.

Keeton's credit cards were used within a 33-minute window — first in Palm Coast at 4:17 p.m. and then in Daytona Beach at 4:50 p.m.

Surveillance video from all three stores show the suspect using one of Keeton's credit cards in multiple transactions, deputies said.

Anyone with information on this incident or identity of the suspects is asked to call the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at 386-586-4801 and reference case No. 15-95040 or call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477.
