A warrant has been issued for a Massachusetts man wanted in connection with the Monday robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in Palm Coast, deputies said.

Flagler County Sheriff's Office detectives have identified the suspect as 37-year-old Joseph E. Carrier, of Quincy, Massachusetts. A warrant has been issued for Carrier's arrest with a $100,000 bond.

The robbery happened at 1:54 p.m. at the bank located at 836 Belle Terre Parkway. Carrier is described to be 6-foot-1 with facial hair and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a light pink collared shirt during the robbery.

Carrier claimed to have a weapon, but he didn't show one during the robbery, deputies said.

He left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash after demanding large bills. He left the area in a black or maroon Buick Encore.

No one was injured during the robbery, deputies said.

Carrier is believed to be in the company of a female and is likely still in the Flagler County area, deputies said.
