It was a cold start to our Thursday with most temperatures in the mid- to low-40s. Marion County was even colder than that with a Frost Advisory as temperatures fell to the freezing mark of 32 degrees. As winds switched more to the east today, temperatures were able to rebound quickly and warm into the upper-60s to low-70s for the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to gradually warm over the next few days with quiet weather.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast for tonight. Temperatures will not be as cold but still chilly down in the mid- to upper-40s. The threat will not be widespread, but there is the potential for some light fog inland as we head toward daybreak.

A front will move through Central Florida on Friday, but there will not be much of an impact on our weather. Mostly sunny skies throughout the majority of the day, with only a few more clouds during the afternoon with the actual passage of the front. Winds will switch to the northwest behind the front and pick up a bit. Highs will remain in the upper-60s to low-70s.

Temperatures from now through Monday will increase gradually and top out in the mid-70s. Dry weather will continue through the weekend, but a front is set to move through on Monday. This will start to increase rain chances late Sunday and into Monday.
