A Merritt Island man was killed Wednesday after his motorcylce was hit by a car in Brevard County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a car was traveling east on Merritt Island Parkway and attempted to make a left turn onto Banana River Drive and turned into the path of a motorcycle driven by 42-year-old Eric Rebillard, striking the back of his bike.
Rebillard was transported to Cape Canaveral Hospital where he died.
FHP said the investigation continues and charges are pending.
