Deputies are searching for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store in Flagler County late Thursday night — the second robbery in about a 24-hour span.

The victim told detectives that an unidentified man entered the 7-Eleven store located at 220 Palm Coast Parkway, in Palm Coast, around 11:45 p.m.

The man demanded money, and the victim said the man had a pistol in his hand. The man then gave the victim a brown plastic bag and told her to give him the money in the cash register. The store manager confirmed the suspect received $94.

The suspect is described to be a skinny man with tan skin. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask with a bandana, a black long-sleeve shirt, black gloves, camouflage pants and black shoes.

In the Publix robbery, a victim told detectives that around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, an unidentified man entered the Publix store located at 800 Belle Terre Parkway, in Palm Coast, and demanded money. The victim said the man was not making coherent statements, gave her a yellow plastic bag and told her to give him everything in the cash register.

The victim also stated she believed the man was armed, but she didn't actually see a weapon, deputies said.

The man quickly left the store and is believed to have driven away in a silver-colored sedan. The suspect is described to be 5-feet-7 with a small frame and between 20 and 30 years old. The suspect was last seen wearing a tan Carhartt-style work jacket with a gray hoodie, blue jeans and black tennis shoes with a white stripe.

"Our detectives are actively following leads and investigating these robberies," Flagler County Sheriff James Manfre said in a statement.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact Detective Gabe Fuentes, of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, at 386-586-4890 or call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
