John Young Parkway closed for construction overnight in Kissimmee

A huge construction project will keep John Young Parkway closed overnight in Kissimmee.

All lanes of the road will be closed between Columbia Avenue and Donegan Avenue until Wednesday morning at 4 a.m.

Contractors are installing the final arches on a pedestrian overpass bridge. The pedestrian bridge is located between Lake Tivoli Boulevard and Bermuda Lakes Lane.

There will be a detour route for cars traveling on John Young Parkway overnight.

Cars traveling south on John Young Parkway should head east on Donegan Avenue, south on North Central Avenue and west on Columbia Avenue back to John Young Parkway.

Cars traveling north on John Young Parkway should head east on Columbia Avenue, north on North Central Avenue and west on Donegan Avenue back to John Young Parkway.
