A lieutenant with Osceola County Fire Rescue was arrested Friday on child pornography charges, deputies said.

Jarrod Lee Taylor, 38, was arrested on 10 counts of promoting photo/movie sexual performance of a child, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

The investigation began in late August when detectives identified a computer with an IP address that was linked to child pornography.

After further investigation, detectives identified the computer was located at Taylor's home in St. Cloud.

On Sept. 26, detectives obtained a search warrant for Taylor's residence and took his computer into evidence. Taylor was home and cooperated with the investigation, deputies said. Based on his statements and the evidence, he was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.

Taylor was placed on administrative lead, according to Mark Pino, of Osceola County Fire Rescue.

The investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending.
