Sumter County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the man who robbed an adult store.
It happened just before 2:45 a.m. Thursday at the X-Mart Adult Supercenter, 973 E. State Road 44.
The clerk told deputies the man walked into the store, pointed a firearm in her face and demanded money.
He then fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as a dark-skinned man wearing a black ski mask and black clothing. He is in his 20s, weighing between 140 to 180 pounds and stands around 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall.
K-9 officers were able to track the suspect heading north across SR-44 until a wooded area around County Road 232A.
