Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help to identify two men who posed as law enforcement officers.

Deputies responded around 2:22 a.m. Tuesday, to a residence on Regal Cove Court, in Kissimmee. When they arrived, they spoke with a victim who indicated he was at Richardson's Fish Camp, located at 1550 Scottys Road, when two unknown men approached him.

They told the victim that they were deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and began asking him about a drug shipment coming into the lake. They also asked the victim to show them his driver's license and wanted to know his Social Security number, deputies said.

Police said the victim was patted down and was asked to empty his pockets. The suspects never showed the victim any legitimate identification before leaving the area.

The victim described the first suspect to be a man in his late 30s with short brown hair wearing a black sleeveless shirt and a life vest. The second suspect is described to be a man in his late 40s wearing a tan baseball cap, purple cowboy boots and a life vest.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222 or CrimeLine at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
