Police continue to investigate after two people were shot during an altercation Tuesday night at an Osceola County mall.

Officers responded around 6:15 p.m. to the Ross, located at Plaza del Sol on West Vine Street in Kissimmee.

A witness said he saw the gunman arguing with a couple inside the store.

"(The gunman) was fighting with the husband of the lady who got shot, and that's when he ran out of the mall and began to shoot inside the mall," Joshua Vega said. "So after he shot, we saw the old man got hit in the arm and that the lady got hit in the calf."

Vega said the woman's son was standing next to her when she was shot.

The two victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As officers responded to the call, they observed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description heading toward them.

Police said the 2007 four-door Saturn crashed near the Publix on Dyer Boulevard and Ball Park Road. The two males from Kissimmee, ages 24 and 21, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not yet been released.

A police department spokeswoman said it is not known if the men were the suspects from the Ross shooting.
