A 56-year-old Lake County man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Sumter County.
The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. Sunday on State Road 44 just west of Northwest 18th Way, also known as Northwest 33rd Drive.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said James Reddick, of Fruitland Park, was traveling eastbound on SR-44 when he traveled into the median and overturned.
Reddick was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
