Marion County Animal Services is updating its fee structure.
It's all to accommodate rising costs for animal care, control and shelter supplies.
The update will go into effect Oct. 1.
Adoption fees will increase from $40 to $50 for dogs and cats. Sterilization fees will also increase to $50 if the surgery is performed at the Animal Center.
