A second attempt to launch the Falcon 9 is set for 1:52 a.m. Sunday, but weather stands at 40 percent favorable, according to the U.S. Air Force 45th Weather Squadron.
There is a chance of violating the thick cloud rule and flight through precipitation rule.
If Sunday's early-morning launch is also scrubbed, there's another opportunity to launch the Falcon 9 rocket at 1:04 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23.
The rocket is carrying University of Central Florida physics professor Joshua Colwell's research to explore low-energy collisions out of dust particles.
A 3-D printer, which has UCF ties as well, is also on board the rocket.
News 13 will have LIVE coverage of the liftoff, and video will be available online at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
