Parents in Seminole County got the chance to talk with experts about cyberbullying on Wednesday.

The meeting took place at the Seminole County School Board headquarters in Sanford.

Parents learned what to look out for, and how to discuss what is happening in their children's online social lives; including with their cellphones and social media accounts.

The cyberbullying experts also told parents to handle online bullies the same as they handle real-life bullies; by notifying authorities.

This comes after the death of Seminole County middle schooler, Lamar Hawkins.

His parents say he was bullied at Greenwood Lakes Middle School.
