A weak boundary will continue to slide south through the forecast area this morning, pushing last evening's showers and clouds to the south. This morning, expect lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

The weak front will be just far enough to our south today for a small amount of dry air to filter in from the north.  This should allow for a bit more sunshine and high temperatures back into the upper 80s and lower 90s.  The chance for showers will be low today, but a few area of rain are possible with the frontal boundary in close proximity.

The front and its associated moisture will begin to lift to the north on Friday, and we will see another major increase in cloud cover as well as much higher rain chances.  High temperatures will only climb into the middle to upper 80s on Friday with high rain chances in the forecast again on Saturday.

In the tropics, Hurricane Edouard is losing strength over 500 miles ENE of Bermuda and continues to pose no threat to land. It will lose intensity and tropical characteristics as it passes over cooler waters of the North Atlantic and eventually curve east toward the Azores. The only other system of slight interest is a wave of low pressure just leaving the west coast of Africa. There is a possibility for formation once it gets over the ocean. Otherwise, there are no other systems in the Atlantic basin with potential for development over the next 48 hours.
