If you search #Gringotts or "Gringotts broke down" on Twitter, you might find either selfies from guests stuck in the dark, or mentions of yet another outage on the signature ride of Universal Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley.

"Breakdowns are happening almost daily," according to Banks Lee, host of Orlando Attractions Magazine's "Attractions: The Show" on Bright House Networks Local on Demand, Channel 999.

Sure, you're more apt to find jovial posts like these on Twitter and Instagram:

But with "almost daily" breakdowns, is Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts off to a worse start than other attraction openings?

Not according to Lee.

"With all new attractions all over the world, things are bound to happen as it's getting used to guests riding it constantly. It's not an issue at all," Lee explained, adding, "With a ride like Gringotts, it's one of the most advanced rides in the history of the world."

So, is there a problematic part that Universal is keeping mum?

"It's hard to say," Lee said. "There are so many elements that are going on in this ride, from the spinning cars to the 3-D screens to — there's a screen that's on a KUKA arm that has to fly away from the track — and if some of those elements aren't working, they can't get the ride going."

"My first time on the ride, it broke down after the final scene," Lee recalled. "We were stuck there for 30 minutes. It was my first time I've ever been evacuated off a ride, ever."

Back on July 17 — not long after Diagon Alley's grand opening — DailyFinance dubbed the ride "Harry Potter and the Perpetual Breakdown." But Lee insists this kind of thing "happens everywhere," and that there is nothing wrong with how the ride was manufactured.

We reached out to Universal Public Relations to respond to the breakdown issues. Here's the response from spokesman Tom Schroder:

Our guests are experiencing Escape from Gringotts and telling us they love it. The attraction has been running fine. The things you refer to are the kind of occasional moments you can expect from a highly sophisticated, larger-than-life experience. When they occur, we work hard to take care good care of our guests, who have proven very understanding.
