Members of the Animal Rights Foundation of Florida protested Monday outside of SeaWorld, and say they were bringing awareness to what they believe are animals being forced to perform at the theme park.

Members of the foundation protested outside of SeaWorld on Labor Day, urging others to boycott the park.

"Here at SeaWorld there is no holiday for the animals. They perform 365 days of the year. And we are encouraging the public to please pay attention to how these animals are being treated," said Bryan Wilson, Animal Rights Foundation of Florida.

SeaWorld responded with the following statement:

"The protesters' claims and accusations are without merit. There is no organization more passionately committed to the physical, mental and social care and well-being of animals than SeaWorld."
