Ocala's Mayor called a special meeting Tuesday -- all over the controversial ban on saggy pants.

Last week, the mayor said he planned to veto the ban, but he accidentally approved it.

At the city council meeting, two changes were proposed to the saggy pants ordinance.

The first proposal would repeal the ordinance entirely; the second would decriminalize the ordinance and substitute a fine for time in jail.

Neither proposal was voted on, so no changes will be made to the ordinance at this time.

The NAACP says the ban targets young black men.

But the councilwoman who came up with the ban says it's about respect, not discrimination.
