Students of the University of Central Florida can now use a free late-night shuttle service to get around the off-campus area, and even downtown Orlando.

The KnightLYNX program will run from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights during the school year.

There are three routes servicing the immediate area around campus, as well as Waterford Lakes and downtown Orlando.

And best of all, it's free for all UCF students with a valid student ID card.

Officials hope providing a free service like this will help further discourage drinking and driving.
