A doctor accused of touching women during their visit to his South Daytona office is now being charged with misdemeanor battery.
Dr. Indavadan Shah was forbidden by the state from seeing women patients last month. He's accused of groping and kissing a woman during her visit back in May. The woman said Shah also repeatedly tried to call her outside of office hours.
This is not the first time Dr. Shah has faced complaints like this. Another woman accused him of inappropriate contact back in 2007, saying the doctor even offered her a free pap smear.
Dr. Shah is not required to turn himself in, however he will have to appear in court. No date has been set.
