It's official, the Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World will open Sunday. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held two days before the grand opening on August 3.

Even Mickey Mouse attended the ribbon cutting on Friday.

Crews broke ground on the Four Seasons project on December 6, 2011. Completion took less than two years and eight months.

More than 4,000 people were interviewed for positions in the resort 443-room resort.

Architectural firm WTG Deisgn and HKS, along with interior design firm Anderson Miller Ltd, say they kept true to designs from Florida's "golden age" and that the resort's design is inspired by lakeside Spanish revival architecture.

Prices range from $450 for a room, to almost $1,500 night. Both of those prices are before taxes; and not including the royal suite and presidential suite that don't list a price and simply advise visitors to call for reservations.
