The search is on for a man and woman who Orange County Sheriff's deputies say pistol-whipped and robbed a man outside an apartment complex.
The robbery happened around 1:40 a.m. Monday at The Park Apartment Homes on Park Promenade Drive, near the intersection of University Boulevard and Goldenrod Road.
Investigators said the victim was walking home by the front gate when a man and woman jumped out of a small red car, pistol-whipped him and stole his wallet.
At some point, the suspects also fired several shots, but no one was hit.
The victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
The suspects remain on the loose.
