Vehicle rigged with thermometer to raise heatstroke awareness

First responders in Seminole County are trying to prevent heatstroke and raising awareness on Thursday.

That's because Thursday is National Heatstroke Prevention Day.

To help people focus on the dangers associated with heat stroke, first responders will rig a vehicle with a thermometer to show just how hot it can get inside when sitting in the sun.

The vehicle will be at the Department of Public Safety building on Bush Boulevard in Sanford.
