The Seminole County mother charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter and burying the child's body in a shallow grave was due back in court Wednesday afternoon, but the hearing was cancelled.
Rachel Fryer hasn't been in court in months.
No new hearing date has been scheduled.
According to court documents, Fryer beat Tariji Gordon so severely the girl died.
In a handwritten letter to News 13 last week, Fryer denied fault, blaming the Florida Department of Children and Families for not giving her enough help.
Fryer's trial date could be set the next time she appears in court.
