Ocoee police have arrested a man they say assaulted a senior citizen in a possible robbery attempt with a firearm, months after a sexual encounter between the two.

Police responded to the call on July 29, around 7:45 p.m. at the residence of Andrian Lepeltier, 74, on Grovesmere Loop in Ocoee.

Lepeltier told police that a man he knew as Ron, and met an adult dating website, assaulted him with a firearm inside of his home.

According to the police report, Lepeltier and Ron, later identified as Myron Fleming, 43, had a sexual encounter approximately one year ago after meeting on the adult dating website.

Then on July 29, police say Fleming sent a text to Lepeltier wanting to meet up again, and arrived at the victim's home around 7:15 p.m. Lepeltier invited Fleming inside once he arrived, and poured him a glass of water before Fleming excused himself to the bathroom with his bag.

Lepeltier says Fleming returned with a handgun, and pointed the firearm at him and yelling, "I'm going to kill you."

At this point, police say Lepeltier told Fleming he knew he was having financial problems, and would take him to the ATM.

Lepeltier went into another bedroom to retrieve his wallet, and upon returning to the living room, was able to activate the alarm system installed in the home and told Fleming police were on the way.

Police say Fleming began to choke Lepeltier with both hands, and after a struggle, fled the residence.

But police say a roll of duct tape fell out of his bag inside the home either during the struggle, or when he was attempting to flee the scene.

Lepeltier then called 911.

But police say just prior to Lepeltier's 911 call, an officer stopped a 2002 Mercedes sedan for speeding as the driver was leaving the the victim's neighborhood

After a brief investigation, the officer was able to determine that the vehicle and occupant were the the same as the ones described by Lepeltier.

Officers recovered a .40 caliber Highpoint handgun.

Police say Fleming then waived his rights, and opted to speak to investigators without a lawyer present; most of Fleming's statement is unavailable at this time.

He did deny ever displaying his firearm, or threatening the victim, but police had probable cause to believe otherwise.

Fleming was arrested on the charges or aggravated assault with a firearm, and battery on a person 65 years of age or older.
