A threat called in to an Orange County Utilities building on Curry Ford Road has been cleared and employees are back inside.

Curry Ford Road was shut down from Dean Road to Econlockhatchee Trail, but the road was back open.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said someone called the utilities building Monday afternoon and made a threat to the facility.

According to Orange County Fire Rescue's Active Calls database, a hazardous materials crew was dispatched at 1:50 p.m. Monday to the scene.

After several hours, the bomb squad said the building was clear.

Employees were evacuated and moved to a nearby church for safety.
