A man is spending time right now in federal prison on fraud charges.

Investigators say 43-year-old Richard Davis of Jamaica was working with an employee of the Osceola County Tax Collector's Office to issue fake Florida licenses to more than 280 people.

These people were in the country illegally, convicted felons, or recently deported.

Federal officials say Davis charged his customers more than $7,000.

Davis was also in the United States illegally, using different names in order to stay here.

He was sentenced to three years and six months in federal prison.
