Grades are finally in for high school students in Osceola County.

With three weeks until the new school year starts, grades for all but two Osceola County high schools will be available as of Thursday, July 24, according to the School District of Osceola County's website.

"Parents and students from all schools except Zenith (School) and Challenger (Learning Center) may now go to your high school starting on Thursday, July 24, to pick up your report cards," the statement reads.

Osceola County School Board officials told parents three weeks ago that a computer glitch was preventing officials from releasing grades to students.

Dana Schafer, an Osceola County School Board member, said Wednesday that scheduling for next year hasn't been impacted.

"The schools started working on their master schedules back in April, and so they know the students’ grades and they know what classes they will be in," Schafer said.

The following statement was posted on the school district's website:

Parents and students – we appreciate your patience as the district has been working to correct the programming error with the high school report cards. Parents and students from all schools except Zenith and Challenger may now go to your high school starting on Thursday, July 24, to pick up your report cards. Please contact your school in advance for any senior transcript requests.

Staff from both Zenith and Challenger schools are working closely with the district office to validate all the grades and get their report cards printed. As soon as they are ready, a call-out will be sent to parents/students at both schools to notify them of the date that report cards can be picked up from the schools.

We apologize for the delay in the report cards, and we appreciate your understanding.
