A man was shot and rushed to a nearby hospital in the Pine Hills area of Orange County during a standoff Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies are investigating the shooting off St. James Road, near Pine Hills Road. The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies thought the suspect was barricaded in the home, but that was not the case. The shooter remains on the loose.
