With one arrest on Friday morning, Flagler County investigators believe they wrapped up at least seven burglary cases, all within a few blocks of each other in Palm Coast's B-section.

Michael McRoberts, Jr., 18, now sits in the Flagler County Jail, where he is being held without bond on a laundry list of charges.

Deputy Paula Priester, of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said, detectives aren't done with him, either.

"We're currently looking at him for additional charges in another section of our county with burglary and dealing in stolen property," Priester said.

Investigators said McRoberts had plenty of help. The victims unwittingly invited him to their things.

"In multiple cases residents in that area had left their vehicle doors unlocked," Priester said.

Michael Shuler said he actually caught McRoberts inside his home early Friday morning and chased him out the same way he got in -- through the garage door.

"I leave it open because, you know, my wife works at night and when she comes home in the mornings, she can just back in, like if it's raining or something, she won't have to get wet, she can just back into the garage," Shuler said.

But that practice has stopped.

While it's been a few days since the break-in, Shuler is still a little angry.

"Go to work for it like we did," Shuler said. "You know, ask for it. If I got it to give, I give it. But you know, just don't take it from me."

Investigators were able to recover about $2,500 worth of stolen property when they arrested McRoberts Friday morning.

Most of victims had their things returned to them.
